Willie "B" In A Box |
Come help Willie B raise $100,000 for the Denver Rescue Mission. Willie will be in a box van until he can come up with 100 Grand to help out those in need. Starting at 6 AM, Monday, June 16 Willie will be living, working, and sleeping in a box.
Come out and visit Willie, and drop off your cash donation to the Denver Rescue Mission.
Willie is raising money for The Crossing, a program at the Denver Rescue Mission that helps people get back on their feet.
Thanks to Verizon Wireless for getting Willie internet access while in The Box, thanks to Blockbuster for keeping Willie's DVD player filled with movies, thanks to 24 Hour Fitness for donating an exercise bike so Willie can keep in shape, and thanks to American Furniture Warehouse for filling The Box with furniture.
We are only accepting cash donations; no canned food or products at this time.

Last year, 15 men fighting homelessness and addiction inspired others when they each successfully completed the Post News Colorado Colfax full or half-marathon. This year, 45 men from the New Life Program, the Denver Rescue Mission’s long-term rehabilitation program, have taken on the challenge as well. |

Festivities will include the giant maze, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch,
hay rides, hay bale maze, hay jump, corn sandbox, corn cannons, pumpkin
slings, barrel train, campfire, corn snake tunnel, concessions and
memorabilia, and more!
