Denver Rescue Mission Internship Program
The internship program offered by the Denver Rescue Mission is two-fold. First to help students, adults, and individuals gain experience in both the non-profit, human services, and ministry fields. Our internships are designed to be hands on, challenging, and productive. Our goal is to help interns grow spiritually, professionally and educationally so that they are equipped for a lifestyle of service in the name of Jesus Christ.
The second side is for the intern to help the Denver Rescue Mission accomplish its goals. We are an organization of 165 employees but with the help of interns and volunteers we provide the work of almost 250 employees! Our interns are given jobs, tasks, and assignments that help further the success of theMission. Without the help of our interns we would not be able to do what we do.
Our internships follow the academic calendar with Fall (September-December), Spring (January-May), and Summer (June-August) semesters. Interns can choose to stay longer with supervisor approval. Part-time internships require a minimum of 15 hours per week. Full-time interns (40 hours per week) qualify for a $250 monthly tuition remuneration paid directly to an education or loan institution, as well as a id="mce_marker"50 monthly stipend. In addition, full-time interns have the opportunity to live at the Crossing and receive free room and board.
