Thanksgiving Banquet-in-a-Box

On Tuesday, November 22, 2011, Denver Rescue Mission helped feed families in our community by distributing 1,250 Thanksgiving food boxes. Each food box contained a turkey, a package of stuffing, canned fruit and vegetables, a 20-pound bag of potatoes, cranberry sauce, canned yams and pumpkin pie filling.

Thank-you to the staff members and more than 30 volunteers who made this event a true success!
