Interested In Donating A Car?

We appreciate your interest in donating a vehicle to the Denver Rescue Mission. When you donate your vehicle to the Mission you also receive:

Free pick up, whether your car is running or not.
All the DMV paperwork completed for you--we save you the hassle!
A tax deduction.
Assurance that your donation, or its proceeds, is handled professionally, efficiently and with faithful stewardship to the Mission's goals of helping the poor and less fortunate.

Will the Mission pick up my vehicle?

Yes! A Mission representative will come to your house or a free tow will be provided.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes! The Mission is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. Ask us how to value your donation.

How will my vehicle be used?

The vehicles are provided to men, women and families who have successfully completed their respective program requirements. Achieving their long term goals of self-sufficiency often requires them to have a trustworthy vehicle to get to work or school, visit the doctor, or simply go to the grocery store. Some donated vehicles may be used for general Mission purposes, or sold to raise money for Mission programs.

What vehicles do you accept?

Nearly any car, truck or van. On rare occasions we will accept a specialty vehicle such as a tractor or recreational vehicle.

Matching Gift

Most employers with a Matching Gift Program provide a matching gift form to their employees. Please mail us the form with your donation and we will provide the information necessary to your employer in order to receive the match. Contact your HR Department for more information about how your company matches gifts.
