Greatest Needs

Your gift of donated items provides support to people experiencing homelessness in Denver. We are always in need of the following:

  • Non-perishable food (canned vegetables, fruit, meats, peanut butter, jelly, sugar, spices, cooking oil and pasta)
  • Warm clothes (socks, hats, scarves, etc.)
  • Hygiene items (men and women’s deodorant, etc.)
  • Furniture

How to Donate Stock – Two Easy Steps

Step 1) Transfer Stock

Step 2) Notify Denver Rescue Mission

To insure proper crediting of your stock donation, please contact us or have your broker contact us using the form below to notify us that the transfer is underway.

You will need to provide the following information:

  • Date of stock transfer
  • Number of shares

  • Correct spelling of your name
  • Your complete mailing address
  • EZ tax credit intentions (If applicable)

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

DAFs have quickly become America’s most popular tool for charitable giving. DAFs are like your own private foundation but without any of the administrative red tape. How can I make an online donation to Denver Rescue Mission?

One-time or monthly donations on DenverRescueMission.org can be made using Visa, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. Online donations can be linked directly to checking or savings account, and we also accept donations through PayPal. 

How will I know my donation was completed?

When you make an online donation, you will receive an email confirmation message once your donation is complete. Receipts will also be mailed to the address you have provided within 7-10 business days.

My credit card was rejected. What should I do?

We use a secure payment processor to ensure that your credit card information is safe. Sometimes the payment processor may reject your information for unspecified reasons. If the charge has been blocked on your bank statement, we recommend contacting your issuing bank to understand why the charge was blocked.

Donations made to Denver Rescue Mission are 100% tax-deductible.
