Internships

Denver Rescue Mission Internship Program

The internship program offered by the Denver Rescue Mission is two-fold. First to help students, adults, and individuals gain experience in both the non-profit, human services, and ministry fields. Our internships are designed to be hands on, challenging, and productive. Our goal is to help train, lead, and provide opportunities that will allow for our interns to leave with knowledgeable and helpful insights to either further help the Denver Rescue Mission or other organizations nationally and globally.

The second side, is for the intern to help the Denver Rescue Mission accomplish its goals. We are an organization of 150 employees but with the help of interns and volunteers we provide the work of almost 200 employees! Our interns are given jobs, tasks, and assignments that help further the success of the Mission. Without the help of our interns we would not be able to do what we do.

Full-time interns (40 hours per week) qualify for a $250 monthly stipend paid directly to an education or loan institution, as well as a $150 monthly stipend. In addition to this you also have an opportunity to live at The Crossing and receive free room and board.

Thank you for letting hungry, hurting and homeless people know the community truly cares for them!

There are over 15 different placement options, ranging from family and human services to financial and non-profit administration positions.
